Used cooking oil collection for takeaways
Takeaways fry harder than almost anything else on the high street, and they do it in the least space. Fixed-day collection, drums that fit where you actually have room, and cash per litre for every one of them.
A takeaway kitchen is usually one or two fryers running from late afternoon until well past midnight, in a back of house measured in feet rather than metres. The oil problem is rarely the oil itself. It is that there is nowhere to put a drum, no time to deal with it during service, and no spare pair of hands to move something that weighs 55kg when full.
What makes takeaways different
Nowhere to store it
Sealed drums that stack and sit flat against a wall, swapped for clean empties rather than emptied on site, so the same square metre works all week instead of filling up.
Never open during your hours
Most takeaways are shut when collectors call and open when they have gone home. Your fixed day is set around your trading hours, including collections before you open.
A busy weekend fills you early
Friday and Saturday can put through more oil than the rest of the week combined. Call or message before noon and we will add a pickup rather than leave you with a full drum until your usual day.
Typical volume
Most single-fryer takeaways fill a 60 litre drum every one to two weeks. Two fryers running seven days usually means weekly.
Not sure where you sit? Pick "Not sure" on the form and we will size it up on the first visit.
What takeaways ask most
Is there a minimum amount of oil before you will collect?
No. We collect and pay from your very first drum, whatever your volume, with no threshold to clear before you start earning from your oil. If you are a cafe filling a 25 litre drum a fortnight, you are as welcome as a chip shop filling a wheelie bin every week.
Do you provide drums or containers?
Yes, free of charge and sized to your kitchen: 25 litre and 60 litre sealed drums, 240 litre wheelie bins for high-volume fryers, and IBCs of up to 1,000 litres for food producers. The 25 litre drum suits cafes and smaller kitchens, and we pay per litre on it just the same. We swap every container for a clean empty at each collection, so there are no leaks, no smells and nothing for your team to clean.
Can you collect before my fixed day?
Yes. Your fixed day is there so you always know when we are coming, but it never locks you in. If a busy week fills your drums early, call or WhatsApp us and we will book an extra pickup before your usual day, often the same day if you reach us before noon.
