Used cooking oil collection for mobile caterers and street food traders

A trailer or a van has no back door for a collector to call at. We collect from your base, your lockup or your storage unit, and you can pause the whole thing out of season without it costing you anything.

Mobile catering breaks the fixed-day model, because there is no fixed place. You might be on a market pitch three days a week, a festival at the weekend and nowhere at all in February. Oil still has to go somewhere, and the usual answer, carrying it home or leaving it with whoever runs the site, is neither safe nor compliant. The workable arrangement is almost always a base: a lockup, a yard, a storage unit or a home address with room for a sealed drum.

What makes mobile caterers and street food different

Collections from a base, not a pitch

Give us the address where your drum actually lives between trading days and we collect from there. It does not need to be a commercial kitchen, only somewhere with safe standing and access.

A season that stops and starts

Pause over the winter, restart in the spring, and nothing accrues while you are not trading. There is no contract and no standing charge, so a quiet quarter costs you nothing at all.

A weekend event fills you in two days

A festival or a wedding can put through more oil than a normal month. Call or message before noon and we will collect on the way back rather than leaving you with full drums in a van.

Your paperwork still has to exist

Trading on council land or at a managed market usually means someone will eventually ask how your waste is handled. Every collection generates a transfer note in your name, whether the oil came off a trailer or out of a kitchen.

Typical volume

Highly seasonal. A single-fryer trailer trading weekends typically fills a 25 or 60 litre drum a month out of season and weekly at the height of summer.

Questions

What mobile caterers and street food ask most

Is there a minimum amount of oil before you will collect?

No. We collect and pay from your very first drum, whatever your volume, with no threshold to clear before you start earning from your oil. If you are a cafe filling a 25 litre drum a fortnight, you are as welcome as a chip shop filling a wheelie bin every week.

Is collection really free?

Completely free. There is no charge for collection, no charge for the sealed drums we supply, and no contract tying you in. Some waste companies charge for every oil pickup; with us it works the other way round, because we pay you for the oil we collect.

Can you collect before my fixed day?

Yes. Your fixed day is there so you always know when we are coming, but it never locks you in. If a busy week fills your drums early, call or WhatsApp us and we will book an extra pickup before your usual day, often the same day if you reach us before noon.
